Badawi dynasty representative presents valuable gift to Matenadaran

Prince Dany Badawi donated a valuable historical artifact to the Matenadaran, Armenia’s institute of ancient manuscripts, an Akkadian treaty written on a clay tablet dating back to 1750-1712 BC.

Prince Dany Badawi and Grammy Award-winning singer Mohombi also visited the museum and restoration department of the Matenadaran.

The Badawi dynasty is an aristocratic family known for its philanthropic activities and for strengthening cultural ties between the Middle East and other countries. Members of the dynasty are actively involved in preserving historical heritage. Prince Dany Badawi traces his lineage to the royal House of Badawi, descended from the Assyrian Tkhuma tribe, and serves as special envoy for cultural diplomacy at the Garibay Institute for Systems Diplomacy, founded by musician, scholar, and producer Fernando Garibay.
