Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office is demanding the seizure of residential buildings and structures on the shore of Lake Sevan belonging to Gagik Tsarukyan, arrested leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (currently owned by the Multi Group concern), the office’s press service reported.

The Anti-Corruption Court has accepted the Prosecutor General’s Office’s lawsuit seeking to invalidate the property’s sale-purchase agreement. If the decision is granted, a 0.29-hectare land plot, along with the residential buildings and pier built on it, could be returned to the state, the office noted.

The court granted the prosecutor’s request to apply a measure securing the ruling, and the concern has been barred from taking any action that could result in a change of the property’s owner.
