Investigators from the Abovyan investigative department urged the protest participants to apply to the Investigative Committee in Yerevan, but the workers intend to go to the department as a group.

“We’re heading to the investigative department. If they don’t open the plant, we’ll block the Yerevan-Sevan highway,” said an employee of Multi Group Stone, a company owned by Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party.

As a reminder, employees of the Multi Group Stone stone-processing plant, part of the Multi Group concern, are holding a protest rally demanding that law enforcement lift the ban on the plant’s operations and reopen the sealed production facilities.
