Empire state building lit up in red and yellow in honor of Spain’s victory

The lighting of New York’s Empire State Building was changed to red and yellow in honor of Spain’s national football team’s victory at the World Cup, TASS reports.
The final match between Argentina and Spain took place in East Rutherford (New Jersey, USA). The Spaniards won 1:0 in extra time. The 2026 World Cup was held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. It was the first tournament to feature 48 teams.
