All countries supporting Ukraine must be held accountable for Kyiv’s aggressive actions, such as the strike on an Iranian merchant vessel in the Caspian Sea. This was stated by Esmaeil Baghaei, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, according to TASS.

“Certainly, all parties that consider themselves supporters of the Ukrainian regime to one degree or another must bear responsibility in this matter. In essence, the behavior of the Ukrainian president resembles the actions of anarchists who, on the eve of World War I, carried out demonstrative and extremely dangerous acts, the consequences of which affected all of Europe,” he said at a press conference. Baghaei called on “those who stand above Zelensky to control him better,” otherwise such actions could lead to consequences for the entire world.

On July 25, Iran’s Foreign Ministry stated that Ukraine had struck an Iranian merchant vessel in the Caspian Sea, killing a crew member.
