Putin and Aliyev speak by phone

Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, held a phone conversation during which they discussed bilateral and international agenda issues. This was reported by the Kremlin press service.

Having discussed current issues on the bilateral and international agenda, the leaders noted the constructive nature of Russian-Azerbaijani relations and the intensification of dialogue between governments and relevant agencies, the statement said.

The heads of state also confirmed their intention to continue expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
