If Russia decides to raise the price of gas, a gas pipeline will be laid as part of the TRIPP project, and we will be able to diversify our supplies. This was stated by Sargis Khandanyan, member of parliament from the Civil Contract party, at a briefing.

“A gas pipeline will run through the territory of Armenia as part of TRIPP, and this could become an additional opportunity to secure an alternative source and make use of its advantages. Implementation of the project is indeed at a practical stage: a corresponding financial fund has been established in the US that will finance the program. Funds are already being accumulated there, and a feasibility study is underway. I very much hope that we will move as soon as possible to the construction of the railway. There is also interest in laying power transmission lines as soon as possible,” Khandanyan noted.
