John Harabedian Named ANCA-WR’s 2026 “Legislator of the Year”

The Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region (ANCA-WR) will honor California State Assemblymember John Harabedian (D) with its 2026 “Legislator of the Year” Award.

The award will be presented at the organization’s Gala Banquet on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles.

The ANCA-WR “Legislator of the Year” Award is presented annually to an elected official who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, an unwavering commitment to justice, and strong advocacy on issues of importance to the Armenian-American community.

Recognizing Assemblymember Harabedian as “Legislator of the Year” reflects ANCA-WR’s commitment to honoring public servants who stand firmly in defense of human rights, amplify the voice of the Armenian-American community, and take decisive action in the face of injustice.

By honoring his leadership, ANCA-WR reaffirms the vital importance of principled advocacy in securing a safer and more just future for Armenians both in the Homeland and throughout the Diaspora.
