Pashinyan speaks by phone with president of Uzbekistan

Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, held a phone conversation with Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Armenian government reports.

Mirziyoyev congratulated Pashinyan on his reappointment as prime minister, wishing him success for the consistent development of Armenia.

It is noted that the two discussed matters related to the further advancement of Armenian-Uzbek relations and the bilateral agenda. The importance of taking consistent steps toward expanding trade and economic ties was emphasized.

The two also exchanged views on regional processes, including efforts underway toward unblocking communications.
