President is healthy and will certainly witness the political agony of certain individuals: Bagrat Mikoyan

Bagrat Mikoyan, head of the office of Armenia’s second president, responded to statements made by Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, addressed at Robert Kocharyan.

“It is unbecoming of a man to deliberately and illegally imprison someone who recently underwent surgery, and then speak ill of his state of health to boost his own standing. The medical procedure the president underwent is already known to everyone. And thousands of people undergo such procedures.

The president himself forbade turning this procedure into grounds for a request to ease his pretrial detention measure. And the one-day postponement of the court hearing on the arrest issue, so eagerly awaited by Nikol and Aliyev, was carried out on doctors’ orders,” Mikoyan noted.
