This is not just a fight against “Dashnaktsutyun,” it is a fight against Armenian identity: Ishkhan Saghatelyan

The Armenian authorities, who are a puppet in the hands of the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem, have in recent years been waging a very consistent struggle against national ideology and against everything national, said Ishkhan Saghatelyan, MP from the “Armenia” faction and representative of the ARFD Supreme Body, during a briefing.

“This is not just a fight against the ARFD as a party, it is a fight against Armenian identity. It is a fight against pan-Armenianism, against national ideology and national character,” the MP noted.

According to him, the authorities’ actions should also be viewed in the context of the process of adopting a new Constitution.

“They are trying to adopt a new Constitution at the demand of Aliyev and Erdogan and according to the agenda dictated by them. A Constitution ‘tailored’ for Azerbaijan, and specifically for Aliyev,” Saghatelyan said.
