The first court hearing in the case of Martun Grigoryan, former member of the National Assembly, began at the Anti-Corruption Court, presided over by Judge Levon Petrosyan.

The prosecutor requested that Martun Grigoryan’s pre-trial detention be extended by another three months.

Martun Grigoryan’s defense lawyer, Varazdat Harutyunyan, asked the court to apply a more lenient measure of restraint, noting that his client would be able to pay bail of up to five million drams.
