Withdrawal from the EAEU would entail enormous economic and social costs for Armenia. This was stated in an interview with RIA Novosti by Vladislav Maslennikov, Director of the Department of European Affairs of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the senior Russian official in the Arctic Council.

“The fact that the rejection of Eurasian integration would inevitably be accompanied by enormous economic and social costs for Yerevan is of little concern to the European Union,” Maslennikov said.
