Peskov on the date of Pashinyan’s visit to Russia

The date of Nikol Pashinyan’s visit, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, to Moscow has not yet been agreed upon, but there is an understanding that it will take place soon, Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the Russian President, said.

“The date has not yet been precisely agreed upon, but there is still an understanding and an agreement between the president (of Russia, Vladimir Putin — ed.) and the prime minister (Pashinyan — ed.) that such a visit will take place soon,” Peskov told reporters.

Earlier, Putin held talks with Pashinyan on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Bishkek. Following the talks, the head of state said that he had invited the Armenian prime minister to Moscow to discuss specific issues of cooperation between the two countries.
