Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia (RA), is taking part in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk by videoconference.
The prime ministers of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are attending in person.
Fifteen issues will be discussed during the meeting, including trade, industry, customs cooperation, finance, energy, transport and logistics.
It should be noted that back in August, Pashinyan stated that he would begin preparations for a referendum on joining the EU or remaining in the EAEU, as requested in a joint statement by the leaders of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
