Azerbaijan and Armenia must decide where the next meeting of foreign ministers of the “3+3” Regional Cooperation Platform will be held, and Russia is ready to provide the necessary assistance, Mikhail Kalugin, director of the Fourth CIS Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“Baku and Yerevan must now decide where the next meeting of foreign ministers of the ‘3+3’ member states will take place. We are ready to give our partners the necessary assistance,” Kalugin said.
Kalugin also reported that practical cooperation within the format is expanding. In June, an expert “track” of the “3+3” was launched at SPIEF, with political scientists from all six countries of the region, including Georgia, taking part.
“In October in Moscow, on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week International Forum, the first meeting within the format on energy cooperation is planned,” the diplomat said.
