One of the owners of a store on Shinarnarnery Street, during a protest in front of the Yerevan City Hall, told journalists that he had met with the head of the administration and the head of the secretariat, Lilit Yavryan. He was informed that a meeting had taken place today with the participation of the mayor and the deputy mayor. It was reported that the mayor spoke about all the documents, and that these documents and decisions have a legal basis.

“They tell me that the lease term has expired. They say the same thing to another colleague of ours. But in my case, the land lease agreement was extended three months ago until 2029. The mayor personally authorized the head of the district administration, who came with me to a notary, and we extended the contract. Initially, the head of the apparatus said that all real estate objects had been examined individually, and there is a legal basis for the demolition of each of them. But when he saw my document, he spoke differently,” the protester noted.
