The Kremlin has not yet reviewed the report of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council on the possible consequences of suspending Armenia’s membership in the EAEU. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president, in a conversation with journalists.
“No, we haven’t. Not yet,” said the Kremlin spokesperson.
Earlier, the press service of the Russian government published a joint report by the governments of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, “On the possible consequences of suspending the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, with respect to the Republic of Armenia.” It outlines how the suspension of Armenia’s membership in the EAEU could affect the republic’s economy.
