Pashinyan’s provocative methods have reached the National Assembly floor: statement

The Strong Armenia Alliance has issued a statement on the situation in the National Assembly of Armenia.
“When the government has no answers to the crucial questions raised by the opposition, it resorts to provocations. Today, too, representatives of the ruling Civil Contract party were unable to give a substantive answer to the key question: why is TRIPP being launched before the peace treaty is signed, and what guarantees does Armenia have that yet another unilateral concession will not lead to new demands from Azerbaijan? Instead, they tried to shift the political debate into the realm of personal insults and clashes.
This is not a random incident. When the government tries to silence the opposition inside Armenia through provocations while making unilateral concessions in its relations with Azerbaijan, a logical question arises: whose interests does this way of working really serve?
We call on Nikol Pashinyan and his team, Civil Contract, to stop the political provocations and give answers on the substance of the questions. At the same time, we state once again that any provocative actions will receive a proportionate response. The Strong Armenia Alliance will not allow public attention to be diverted from fundamental problems concerning Armenia’s security and sovereignty by means of personal insults and staged provocations,” the statement reads.
