“Aliyev screwed you over, and you screwed over the people”: Narek Karapetyan to authorities

Narek Karapetyan, head of the Strong Armenia faction, criticized the authorities’ policy on the TRIPP project and the peace process, saying that Ilham Aliyev (President of Azerbaijan – ed.) had “screwed over” the Armenian authorities, and they in turn had “screwed over” the people of Armenia.

According to Karapetyan, the authorities had promised that the TRIPP project would bring peace, but now present it as a program for unblocking communications, without any clear guarantees that the peace treaty will finally be signed.

“You screwed over the people, and Aliyev screwed you over. And do you know what the worst part is? People, pay attention: no one has ever said whether peace and TRIPP can exist at the same time. The road is being taken from us, we’re chipping in, and in the end our country gets no peace at all,” he said.
