Sports journalist and commentator Robert Gasparyan represented Armenia at The Best FIFA Men’s Player.
Robert voted in the nominations The BEST FIFA Men’s player, The BEST FIFA Men’s coach and The BEST FIFA Men’s goalkeeper.

In his opinion, the title of the best football player of the outgoing year should be awarded to Manchester City striker Erling Haaland. Gasparyan gave his vote for the best coach to Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, while the player of the same team, Ederson, was hailed as the best goalkeeper.

“In modern football, the attitude towards individual prizes has changed, as football has also changed a bit in the 21st century. As the sport becomes more mechanized, it deprives bright players of the opportunity to demonstrate their individual skills.

From this perspective, team rewards and goals take center stage. The favorites here, of course, are Manchester City with their goalscorer Erling Haaland, coach Pep Guardiola and goalkeeper Ederson.
