The US is somewhat complicit in what is happening in Armenia now, political expert Robert Margaryan told Alpha News.

“The attitude of the US was unexpected. It is clear that it cannot be overlooked by the local Armenians. I think the ANCA statement is our direct response to the indifference shown by the Biden administration. The US is somewhat complicit in this detrimental project,” Robert Margaryan said.

The political scientist noted that during the days of the blockade, everyone was silent, but as soon as forced displacement started, everyone woke up.

“They have been silent for many months. Despite all protests and letters, no practical steps were taken. When the deportation began, they started to reach Artsakh, Armenia. They gave a few million and said that they had come to help. It is clear that they are not sincere at all,” he said.
