Relics of Nerses the Gracious to be brought to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On December 16, with the blessing of Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, a reliquary cross of Patriarch Nerses the Gracious (Shnorhali) will be placed in the Holy Archangels Church of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin for the spiritual consolation and worship of the faithful. The relics of the saint will be in the church from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time.

St. Kevork Church in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv presented the relic to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on the occasion of the 850th anniversary of the death of His Eminence the Patriarch.
The relic will be delivered to Holy Etchmiadzin by the Locum Tenens of the Armenian Diocese of Bulgaria, His Grace Bishop Datev Hagopian.
