Russia says ready to provide technological and platform solutions to EAEU partners

Russia is ready to provide specific technological and platform solutions to EAEU partners, with each country maintaining its data sovereignty, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at the plenary session of the Digital Almaty 2024 conference in Kazakhstan.

“We are ready to provide our partners with Russian approaches and specific technological and platform solutions. Let me stress that they should be used within the borders. In other words, each country is simply obliged to maintain data sovereignty. Only the services are shared—the so-called core of the platforms,” Mishustin said.

Such reliable systems are a must, the Russian Prime Minister emphasized.

According to him, those countries that do not have their own IT systems and competencies are risking becoming informationally, politically and economically dependent on the developments of others. Technology leaders will increase control over critical infrastructure systems.
