Armenians of Akhalkalaki celebrate Easter

On March 31, the Armenian community of Georgia’s Akhalkalaki celebrated Easter, the Feast of the Holy Resurrection of Jesus Christ, jnews. ge reported.

This feast is one of the five main feasts of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Rev. Father Archimandrite Nshan Hmayakyan, General Prelate at Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka’s General Prelacy, served the Easter Liturgy at the Holy Cross Church of Akhalkalaki.
