Russian-Turkish monitoring center in Artsakh ceases its activity

The joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center in Artsakh’s Aghdam district is ceasing its activity, Turkish Defense Ministry spokesperson Zeki Akturk said during a briefing.

“The work aimed at ending the activity of the monitoring center is under the coordination of both sides,” he said.

The joint monitoring center was established on January 30, 2021 under a memorandum between Turkey and Russia.
