Azerbaijani border guards are already standing on the part of the bridge entering Kirants village. The information was confirmed by the administrative head of the village, Kamo Shahinyan, in a conversation with Alpha News.
“Azerbaijani border guards are standing on that part of the road. Yesterday, around 18:00, they came to stand on that part of the bridge. Until now they were standing above this village, now they have already descended on the bridge. They are already walking along the border, but they haven’t put a flag in that part yet. According to my data, the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations took place on the 15th of the month and a two-month period was decided, which ended yesterday, that’s why they came to stand in that area yesterday,” said the administrative head of the village.
Kamo Shahinyan assured that there is no atmosphere of fear in the village.
“We are not afraid that the Turks (azeri border guards) have come, but at that time we drove them out of that area, and today they came quietly and stopped. Well, if it is actually peace for Armenia, then what can I say, we are still ready to keep what we have,” said Shahinyan.
