Acting principal of Merdzavan village school dismissed from position

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Armenia, along with the Armavir Regional Administration, decided to dismiss the acting principal of Merdzavan village school and appoint a new one.

Earlier, a video surfaced online in which teachers, students, and parents accused history teacher Roza Davtyan of inappropriate behavior, including insulting students and colleagues and failing to conduct lessons.

The history teacher herself stated that the protest against her was organized by the acting principal in an attempt to have her dismissed. The Ministry of Education condemned the incident and decided to dismiss the school’s acting principal. It also said it would monitor the situation and take all measures to solve the problems at the school.
