Alen Ghevondyan conveys words of gratitude to all those who care, through his lawyer

Lawyer Varazdat Harutyunyan published on his Facebook words of gratitude on behalf of political analyst Alen Ghevondyan, addressed to all those who care.

“Given the restrictions imposed on political analyst Alen Ghevondyan in the context of his political criminal prosecution (including the right to personal publications), I am publishing his words of gratitude addressed to all those who care.

“I would like to express my deep gratitude to all people, known and unknown, to my friends, colleagues, public and political figures, human rights defenders, media representatives and journalists, students, like-minded individuals, and political and civic organisations, who in their public statements, publications, and interviews took an objective and critical stance and expressed words of support in connection with my detention on June 12. It is evident that this criminal case is political in nature.
I should note that within the framework of the criminal case, the court has issued a ruling placing me under administrative supervision for the duration of these proceedings. I am prohibited from using social media, posting on social media, participating in assemblies of a political nature, and leaving the Republic of Armenia. The only means of communication available to me are regular mobile communication and in-person contact. Thank you all,” reads Ghevondyan’s message the lawyer noted.
