The All-Armenian Supreme Council joined the patriotic demand of Archbishop Bagrat Srbazan, expressing deep concern and disagreement over the border delimitation process in Tavush and rejecting the capitulation policy of the current authorities, orer.eu reports.

“The delimitation of Armenia’s borders without recognizing the rights of the citizens of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic rejects the provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. Armenia’s sovereign territories cannot be surrendered to the enemy. We defend our sovereign right, we are one with our brothers and sisters living in the Republic of Armenia, and we reject every step to divide and destroy our state.

The Senators of the All-Armenian Supreme Council support the nationwide Tavush for the Homeland movement. We are full of hope that Bagrat Srbazan will take all steps in his power to ensure that the Yevlakh agenda is not repeated in Tavush or any other border part of the Republic of Armenia,” the Council said in a statement.
