American specialists assessed site for TRIPP project in southern Armenia

Engineers from the US have assessed a site in southern Armenia for the implementation of the “Trump Route.” The republic hosted the American engineering and consulting firm AECOM last week, the US Embassy in Yerevan reported.

It is noted that the Americans studied the terrain with a view to the future construction of a railway and a number of other infrastructure projects. “The AECOM team and Government of Armenia partners surveyed the TRIPP site to design the railway and other infrastructure that will support economic growth, connectivity, and regional integration,” the statement said.
