Amsterdam will sue Rubinyan unless he retracts his statement

Robert Amsterdam, international human rights activist, announced on social media that he will sue Ruben Rubinyan, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and a member of the ruling CIvil Contract, unless he retracts his statement.

Rubinyan previously stated that Amsterdam was associated with financier Jeffrey Epstein and provided him with legal services.

“Ruben Rubinyan, you are a liar who has lost all sense of humanity. I have never worked with Epstein and have never given him any advice. If you do not immediately and publicly refute this blatant lie, I will sue you for $10 million in compensation,” the lawyer wrote.

According to him, “the sole purpose of this pathetic fabrication is to distract public attention from the legal team’s investigation into external interference in the Armenian elections.”

“I declare with full responsibility: I have never had any connection, status or collaboration with Mr. Epstein… Their attempts are in vain: their lies will not silence us,” Amsterdam added.
