ANPP and Rosatom Service sign contract for supply of equipment and modernization of cooling systems

Armenian NPP and Rosatom Service signed a contract for the supply of equipment and modernization of the cooling systems on the sidelines of the ATOMEXPO-2024 International Forum in Sochi, Russia.

The document was signed by Eduard Martirosyan, CEO of ANPP, and Evgeny Salkov, CEO of Rosatom Service.

The project comes as part of measures to extend the plant’s operating life until 2036. 

Rosatom Service became the only company that met the requirements of the announced tender. According to Martirosyan, the signed contract is of significant importance for the emergency cooling of the safety systems of the NPP.
