ARF members were released due to lack of grounds – Sergey Harutyunyan

Members of the ARF were released after it became clear that they had been arrested without grounds, lawyer Sergey Harutyunyan announced during a press conference.

“The goal was to show the public that the ARF was allegedly preparing to carry out a terrorist act. The aim was to isolate individuals who, during future assaults on the church, might express discontent and attempt to resist,” he said.

The lawyer also stated that all the discovered weapons were registered and acquired legally.
