Armenia has no plans yet to become BRICS member — Mher Grigoryan

Armenia will take part in the BRICS summit on October 22-24 in Kazan, but at this stage it is not discussing the possibility of becoming a member of the organization, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said in the parliament.

“No, not at this stage,” he replied to a journalist’s question about the possibility of applying for BRICS membership.

Earlier, the Armenian government confirmed that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will attend the BRICS summit.
