Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, noted at a meeting with Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of Russia, that Armenia is interested in active participation in the Eurasian Economic Union and is counting on the resolution of problematic issues that have arisen.

“This meeting is a good opportunity to discuss the full range of the bilateral agenda and compare positions. Armenia is constructively minded and ready to clarify all the nuances and questions,” Pashinyan emphasized.

According to him, certain difficulties have arisen recently, and he hopes the sides will be able to discuss them and find solutions.

“Both before the elections and after them, we are focused on the further development of relations with Russia. We are interested in full participation in the EAEU and in ensuring that the mechanisms provided for by the treaty operate as planned. I am convinced that this serves the interests of the Union’s further development,” the Prime Minister of Armenia stated.
