Armenia ranked second among neighboring countries in terms of Russian tourist arrivals

According to Russia’s Statistics Service, from January to September 2025, 285,800 Russian citizens visited Armenia, an increase of 13.9% compared to the same period last year.

Abkhazia remains the leader in tourist visits, with 783.6 thousand Russians traveling there. Georgia takes third place, showing a notable rise in interest from Russian travelers—up 36% this year.
