Armenia ranks 64th in world salary ranking

According to Numbeo, as of September 16 of this year, Armenia ranked 64th out of 96 countries of the world in the salary ranking.

The average monthly net salary in the country amounted to 608.1 dollars. Among the CIS countries, Armenia has salaries higher than in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. The highest salary in the world is in Switzerland (7.2 thousand dollars a month). Luxembourg and the United States are second and third, with 5.8 thousand and 4.5 thousand dollars, respectively.

Meanwhile, the lowest salaries were recorded in Cuba ($37.6), Egypt ($146.5) and Pakistan ($180.9).
