Armenia takes part in ice-climbing competitions in Russian Tyumen
International ice-climbing competitions take place in Tyumen, Russia, from February 28 to March 4, with fifty strongest mountaineers from Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Korea, Belarus, Moldova, and other countries participating.
Athletes compete in two disciplines: speed and difficulty.
At the first stage of the competition, ice climbers need to overcome a series of short but extremely difficult routes in a limited period of time. At the second stage, athletes will conquer a 17-meter ice wall at speed.
