Armenia will never be involved in anti-Russian actions and will not dispute or feud with Russia, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a briefing.
According to him, in both Russia and Armenia, “there are many people who want a crisis in relations between the two countries.”
Speaking about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to Armenia, Pashinyan said: “Excuse me, but why shouldn’t he have come? And when Armenia was in conflict with Azerbaijan, did the Azerbaijani president not visit Russia? Or the Russian president not visit Azerbaijan? Have we ever asked this question? What’s the problem here?”
Regarding the current tense issues with Russia, Pashinyan cited relations with Brussels as an example – Armenian airlines are still on the EU’s “blacklist.” However, in his opinion, this does not indicate a crisis in relations with the EU.
