Armenia will not turn into anything else, Nikol Pashinyan, prime minister of the Republic of Armenia (RA), said at a briefing at the government, commenting on statements by Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, and the threats contained in them.
“Following the same logic, I or someone else could now say, for example, that we don’t want Armenia to turn into a new Russia, considering that explosions are heard in different corners of Russia, and I don’t know what is going on there. In other words, this is not a very good genre,” he said.
According to Pashinyan, Armenia will not turn into any other country or state.
“Armenia is Armenia. And it will not turn into anything else, but will become an even better Armenia, a more sovereign state,” he added.
