Armenian and Russian specialists discuss extending nuclear power plant’s operating life

Specialists from Armenia and Russia have discussed the progress of work to extend the operating life of the nuclear power plant and the further implementation of the project.

The fifth meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee, dedicated to the progress of the program for a repeat extension of the operating life of the plant’s second power unit, took place in Yerevan yesterday. This was reported by the press office of Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

The meeting was attended by Kirill Komarov, First Deputy Director General of Rosatom, as well as representatives of the leadership of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant and of Armenian and Russian industry organizations.
