Armenian Business Forum 2024 became the main business platform for strengthening cooperation between Armenian and Russian businessmen

On May 25, the Armenian Business Forum 2024 was held in Moscow, organized by the Armenian Businessmen Association with the support of the Tashir Group of Companies.

This year, the forum brought together about 400 participants from Armenia and Russia, including big businessmen and aspiring entrepreneurs.

In his opening remarks, President of the Armenian Businessmen Association Samvel Karapetyan underscored the importance of strengthening the partnership between Russia and Armenia.

“Our task as the Armenian business community is to maintain and expand these ties. We need to unite and become a bridge for the effective development of relations between our countries,” Samvel Karapetyan said.

According to Samvel Karapetyan, no external circumstances can or should become an obstacle to the development of the Armenian-Russian partnership and further cooperation.

“The current political forces cannot fail to take into account the interests of the diaspora, which works not only for the benefit of Russia but also of Armenia. A strong diaspora is Armenia’s strong support,” Samvel Karapetyan said.

As part of the forum, a panel discussion was held on the topic “Armenian-Russian business integration: new prospects.” The panelists touched upon the prospects for new trends in the development of industry in Armenia, the great potential of the financial market, as well as the most interesting areas of economic development. All these topics were discussed in the context of how Armenia should take the right approaches to economic development amid new realities that have emerged in the world. In this context, the role and importance of the EAEU were also particularly emphasized.

The panelists talked about the 5-year activities of the Armenian Businessmen Association and implemented investment programs. In the future, the strategic goal of the Association is to create an active business network around the world.
