Armenian foreign minister explains what timing of EU visa-free regime depends on

The visa liberalization process with the European Union is moving fairly quickly, but much now depends on Armenia itself, Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, said.

“If you are asking about a specific timeline for completing the process, I think it is right to tell Armenian society that it depends on us,” the minister said.

Mirzoyan added that Armenia has to carry out legislative reforms and complete a number of technical procedures, and the faster this work is done, the sooner results can be expected.
