Armenia’s David Poghosyan crowned champion at World Games of Young Compatriots in Russia

Young Armenian chess player David Poghosyan has emerged as the champion of the World Games of Young Compatriots, held in Vyborg, Russia, from June 2 to 8, the Russian House in Armenia reports.

David scored 8.5 points out of 9, claiming first place in the Rapid category.

Armenia earned silver in the team competition.
