Armenia’s exports down 3.6%: EADB

The EADB’s weekly macro review has been published, showing that Armenia’s exports declined by 3.6%. According to the data, economic activity in Armenia grew by 8.0% year-on-year in January–May 2026, following 6.9% year-on-year in January–April.
The main contributions came from services (+9.1% year-on-year), construction (+24.1% year-on-year), and industry (+12.2% year-on-year). External trade dynamics were mixed: imports rose by 2.2% year-on-year, while exports fell by 3.6% year-on-year. High economic activity is expected to be maintained in 2026, driven by domestic sources. GDP growth in 2026 is forecast at 6%.
