Arsen Balayan defeats Azerbaijani rival to claim European U23 Freestyle Wrestling title

Russian wrestler of Armenian origin, Arsen Balayan (79 kg), became the European U23 Freestyle Wrestling Champion in Tirana, Albania.

In the final march, Arsen secured a decisive 5-1 victory over Azerbaijan’s Farid Jabbarov.

Arsen has previously proved himself as a successful athlete on the global stage, becoming a bronze medalist at both the U23 World and European Championships.
