Artsakh STEM Expo 2023 – Educational and Technological Event in Stepanakert

On August 6, Artsakh State University hosted an educational and technological event called Artsakh STEM Expo 2023 under the slogan “Science and motivation”. The aim of the event was to stimulate interest of schoolchildren and students in natural and technological sciences, engineering and mathematics, as well as introduce students to engineering and IT, and to expand connection between education and labor market.

The expo showcased research works of students. Participants shared their experience and talked about features of their work, possibilities of the sphere, new tendencies and professions during panel discussions.

According to organizers, the contest of scientific, technological and engineering ideas in Artsakh is aimed at developing ties with tech companies in Armenia and diaspora, and also providing opportunities for mentorship. High-school and university students were among the participants.
