Artur Sargsyan, deputy of the 9th convocation of the National Assembly, elected from the “Armenia” bloc, will continue to remain under house arrest. The court extended the preventive measure, while also ruling that his parliamentary immunity is considered overcome.

At the same time, Sargsyan has been granted the right to participate in sessions of the new parliament, given his status as an elected representative.

As a reminder, Artur Sargsyan, associate of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, was arrested in July 2025 on charges of preparing terrorist attacks aimed at overthrowing the constitutional order.
