Asmik Grigorian to portray Rusalka at Barcelona’s Liceu

Opera star Asmik Grigorian is set to perform the title role in Antonín Dvořák’s Rusalka at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. The performances are scheduled for June 28 and July 1, 4, 6, and 7.

Grigorian, an internationally acclaimed soprano known for her powerful stage presence and vocal brilliance, will portray Rusalka in a fresh interpretation directed by Dmitri Tcherniakov.

This production is a collaboration among some of Europe’s most prestigious opera houses, including the Liceu, the Paris Opera, La Scala, and the Metropolitan Opera.
